The 5E error code on a Samsung washing machine typically indicates a problem with draining. Check the debris filter monthly to prevent clogging. A clogged debris filter may prevent your washing machine from draining water, spinning cycle and reduce the bubble wash technology.
Inspect the drain hose and filter for any clogs or blockages. Remove any debris that may be obstructing the flow of water.
The drain pump may be clogged or faulty. You can manually check the pump for any obstructions and clean it if necessary. If the pump is damaged or not working properly, it may need to be replaced. refer to the image below.
Ensure that the drain hose is not inserted too far into the standpipe or drain opening. Make sure that the drain hose is at least 60cm above the floor. The end of the hose should be at the correct height to prevent siphoning or backflow.
